The annual Catholic Scout Camporee will take place March 9-10 at Camp Bowers in White Oak, NC. The theme is “Angels, Saints and Heroes.” The camporee brings together Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and American Heritage Girls for a weekend to celebrate their Catholic faith and scouting.
Activities include retreat presentation around the theme, survival skills, fire building, balloon battle royal, bucket brigade, human Mario carts, a rock wall, cooking competition, first aid race, pancake race, and a T-shirt Tie Dye.
Bishop Luis Rafael Zarama will celebrate Mass with the scouts and enjoy dinner with them afterward.
