May is the Month of Mary, when Catholics traditionally honor the Blessed Mother in a special way and seek her intercession. In this video message (watch below), Bishop Luis Rafael Zarama recounts a memory from his childhood and encourages us to take time from our busy lives to offer something special for Mary this month.
“May challenges us to see Mary as a mother and as someone who was able to follow the will of God,” Bishop Luis said. “Sometimes before we say yes, we want to know what will happen. The Lord challenges us as he challenged Mary. He is looking for us to trust in him. We need to say yes, and he will give us what we need to fulfill his will.”
